S03E002 - Julie and Corey are excited to have Ian Smith, entrepreneur, speaker, gym owner, and beard model, on the show to talk about staying true to who you are in life and in business. Before Ian joins, the two talk about standing up for what you believe in and their thoughts on government overreach. Once Ian joins, they get a good overview of Ian’s story standing up against mandates in New Jersey regarding his gym. The three talk about thinking of the big picture and staying true to who you are. Ian discusses how no business should be forced to close their doors due to things outside of their control. They then jump into culture and assessing risk and Ian closes the show by talking about the downside of being well known.
